There are many ways from the practical to the flamboyant.
When is comes to kitchens and bathrooms the majority of home owners will choose a neutral overall look for resale value. Look at the kitchen above on the left. It is neutral wood cabinets with white counter tops but the splash of yellow on the chairs is what gets one's attention.
Blue is the new "almost" neutral in some cases as seen above too. That blue stove surrounded by white cabinets would be a knock out and would not hurt anyones real estate values.
Choose spots to add color to brighten your day with wallpaper, pillows, art, or rugs. Or, maybe you want to paint a room pink, red, or green. Go for it!
